Big Band Dance
Come and enjoy dancing to the music of the Millard North Jazz Band, Friday, May 11th, as we present our 12th annual Big Band Dance. The dance will be held in the north gym of Millard North High School. This year the evening will be extra special, as we’ll also say farewell to Mr. Rathbun.
Dessert and beverages will be served beginning at 7:00 p.m., with music and dancing beginning at 7:15 p.m. Swing music from the 1920’s through current-day-jazz will be featured throughout the evening. The Millard North jazz band, plus some special guests, will perform. Each year, more than 400 students, parents, and band supporters gather to dance the night away or just listen and enjoy. Ticket prices will be $10 for adults and $5 for students, and will only be available at the door. Please contact the MNHS band office (715- 1513) with any questions, and we’ll do our best to answer them for you. Please mark your calendar for this fun event!

Senior Pep Band Shirts:
Here is the process to sell back your pep band shirts, if you so choose: -
- attach a self-addressed stamped envelope to the pep band shirt
- indicate your asking price on the back of the envelope or on a label on the shirt
- drop off the shirt at the school during fitting times this summer(July 10, July 17, Aug 7, Aug 9, all from 6pm - 9pm)
- we will display all the shirts on a table during fitting times and if sold, will put the money in the envelope and mail to you.
- at the end of fittings on Aug 9, you will need to come back and pick up your shirt, if it didn't sell.
- Shirts not picked up by 9 pm on Aug. 9 will be donated to the band.
We are not able to take the shirts before fittings because we don't have a place to
store them. Contact Tammy Coughlin with questions.

Orlando Trip

Here is what Cathy Keiser had to say about the trip.
"As you know, we are back from the 'happiest place in the world' and we just wanted you to know that the kids were absolutely awesome on this trip! We heard so many compliments about the students that it would take me a book to write down everyone. They were so polite every where we went that several adults asked where we were from to tell us what a great group of kids we have. We even heard comments about our marching performance that people thought we were the "Disney Band" that was marching because the kids looked so professional. We represented our school with a lot of pride. Thank you to all of you for your help in preparing for this exciting trip and especially to all the chaperones that went along and took such good care of your sons and daughters. They were amazing and extremely helpful. We could not have traveled without them!"
